Catherine Claussen is the General Counsel of Phoenix3 Collective, where she leads legal strategy to support growth across senior living, healthcare, corporate, and higher education dining platforms. A trusted partner to executive leadership, she aligns legal, operational, and business objectives to accelerate expansion while managing risk.
With over a decade of experience in hospitality, food service management, and real estate development, Catherine brings deep expertise in complex transactions, regulatory compliance, and asset management. She is known for delivering practical, business-focused legal solutions that enable growth and drive performance.
Prior to Phoenix3 Collective, Catherine served as Chief Legal Officer and SVP of Corporate Development for a hospitality and real estate company, where she played a key role in strategic expansion initiatives and navigating industry-specific legal and regulatory challenges.
Catherine holds a Juris Doctor from Campbell University School of Law, with a distinction in business law, and an MBA in Sustainable Business, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Political Science, from Appalachian State University.
